DESCRIPTION

Comprehensive refurbishment of a single family house in a luxury neighbourhood of Madrid.

The main idea of the project was to create open spaces that are articulated by remarkable pieces as the winery bubble or the bathroom’s capsules. Carpentry plays an important role in the house and has been designed with great attention to details.

The structure was modified, substituting a system of load bearing walls by a large truss from which the upper slabs are suspended.The whole work, which is equivalent to a newly constructed housing unit, has been carried out in a very limited time, along half a year.
